Who it’s for
Remote employees and freelancers with clients or an employer outside Spain, with a degree or at least three years’ experience in their field.
Income
200% of Spain’s minimum wage — about €2,850 a month (figure updates yearly)
Stay
1-year visa, then a residence permit of up to 3 years, renewable
Family
Partner and children can be included with extra income
Requirements
- Remote work for a company or clients outside Spain (at most 20% of income from Spanish clients)
- A degree, or at least 3 years’ professional experience
- Clean criminal record
- Private health insurance valid in Spain
